As we approach Thanksgiving, a few things we’re thankful for.
Perhaps the most satisfying part of being a TEDxSanAntonio organizer is watching our community come together and engage in shared conversations about Ideas Worth Spreading.
Without our attendees there would be no TEDxSanAntonio.
Organizing TEDxSanAntonio events is a monumental effort and sometimes there can be moments of doubt when confronted with obstacles and challenges. But as our attendees line up to register, grab their seats, watch the talks and converse with each other during breaks, all doubts evaporate. Every. Single. Time.
One of my favorite parts of the “Now You Know” event was watching the Will Smith Amphitheater completely fill up with an audience that couldn’t get enough TEDxSanAntonio talks. More than 150 people filled the amphitheater during the lunch break for our new “TEDxSanAntonio Pop-Up Talks” concept. This feature was brand new and with anything new there’s a risk that it either won’t work at all or might go haywire. I’m grateful that our community placed their faith in us in trying something new. It’s even better that our six speakers were so amazing!
Huge thanks to everyone who attended TEDxSanAntonio “Now You Know”. Let’s get together again soon!
