At a TEDxYouth@SanAntonio event, middle schoolers, high schoolers and college students come together (with parents, educators and friends) to share imaginative and thought-provoking ideas for transforming our city and world. Activities showcase San Antonio’s unique culture, innovation and creativity to the worldwide TED community. #TEDxYouthSA
In person and online: Saturday, April 15, 2023
TEDxYouth@SanAntonio invites Youth and the San Antonio community to explore our theme of Climate Action, hear from 6 live speakers, and connect with organizations actively working on climate issues.
The event will be held at the University of Texas at San Antonio’s beautiful Buena Vista Theatre on the downtown campus. A livestream option will also be available. Discover opportunities to make a difference on Climate Change.
Students middle-school age and up are especially welcome — but anyone interested in exploring Climate Action is welcome to attend. You don’t have to live in San Antonio to take part and make a difference!

SPONSOR
We produce these events with the help of future-focused, generous sponsors. Get visibility and show your support for Climate Action and Youth Empowerment. UTSA’s Office of Sustainability and KLRN have extended outstanding visibility benefits to sponsors.
Community organizations and businesses are welcome to submit proposals for interactive activities in our Idea Lab!
Download the Sponsorship packet and the Idea Lab Opportunity sheet for details. To discuss, please reach out to Sponsors@TEDxSanAntonio.com.
VOLUNTEER
We need youth volunteers to work as our event crew. Crew assignments include greeting attendees, check-in and registration, information and wayfinding, speaker rehearsal, catering staging and cleanup, and materials set-up and load-out. Educators: Get your students hands-on experience managing community events and help them meet some amazing people. Head over to the VOLUNTEER page to apply.
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: Attend a Volunteer Committee meeting to learn about key volunteer roles open to college students.
