TEDxSanAntonio actively seeks applications for our 2014 event – especially performers such as musicians, actors, poets, dancers, visual artists, and multimedia artists. Art is often a source of Ideas Worth Spreading – and words and speeches are not the only way to spread an idea.
If you or someone you know has an unusual, stimulating, thought provoking, status-quo-challenging idea to share, our speaker committee would love for you to apply.
THE OPPORTUNITY
TEDxSanAntonio speaker/performers are not compensated, but your art/idea will be shared live with 650 or more attendees, captured in video, featured in the TEDxTalks YouTube channel, and shared throughout the worldwide TED community.
The event itself is Saturday, October 18. See the speaker application for a lot more information about the event, speaker requirements, selection, curation and scheduling. Please note that San Antonio residency is not a prerequisite.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS
Sunday, July 6, 2014 – Midnight
HOW TO APPLY
There’s an online form – we suggest you copy it to a document and work up your answers, then paste them into the form.
If you can help spread the word, please follow TEDxSanAntonio in Facebook and Twitter primarily) and Like, Share, and Retweet the speaker application opportunity and deadline info.
