The election is finally over and our only agenda is to spread ideas. We’re serving up a big dose of post-election serenity with TEDxSanAntonio this Saturday, November 12 at the Witte Museum. Tickets are going fast. Get yours before it’s TOO LATE.
Admission is limited and with an exciting NEW venue and AMAZING speaker slate, the event is certain to sell out quickly.
Your ticket includes:
A program of amazing speakers.
This fall’s speaker slate covers a tremendous range of topics and personalities. The agenda includes the former Spurs Coyote, Mayor Ivy Taylor, three inspiring talks in honor of Veterans Day weekend and a host of others guaranteed to stimulate your mind and get you thinking out of the box.
A chance to cross “Give a TED talk” off your bucket list.
It’s not far-fetched to think that we all have dreamed of taking centerstage upon the red dot. Or that there’s a draft saved somewhere of our “idea worth spreading”. While technically not an official TED talk, Pop-Up Talks offers attendees the opportunity to give impromptu, bite-sized talks before a live audience. Even if you aren’t ready to take the spotlight, make sure to submit which proposed Pop-Up ideas should get their time to shine.
Food for thought (and your stomach).
Food is a vital, if not necessary, part of spreading ideas. Helping fuel the ideation process, breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided.
900 opportunities to make new friends.
The true spirit of TEDxSanAntonio thrives on community. It’s not everyday that you have the opportunity to be surrounded by a large group of people of various skills, experience, and backgrounds. What better way to meet new people and have some rich conversations about an infinite possible number of topics.
INSIDER TIP: Badges highlight personal conversation starters attendees provided at registration. Go on an adventure to find the most interesting topic listed.
An outlet to visually express your gratitude for a stress-free weekend.
The day will be filled with plenty of opportunities for photo ops. The TEDxSA Photo Booths take those captured moments to the next level. Inspired by TEDxSanAntonio 2016 speaker Sarah Brooke Lyons’ 1005 Faces project, this event’s photo booth will let you pen your personal message on a placard and strike a pose.
