As we approach Thanksgiving, a few things we’re thankful for.
Huge thanks to our emcee, Sonny Melendrez. It was an honor for me to introduce Sonny to the TEDxSanAntonio community last Saturday. On that stage I mentioned that he was perhaps the most generous person I’ve ever met and I meant it.
He did a phenomenal job hosting “Now You Know”, the second big event he’s hosted for us. He spent hours meeting each and every speaker in order to know how to best present them to the audience. He created a podcast series to introduce nearly every speaker. He shot a promotional video for us late in the process and it only took a single take. He’s promoted our event through his vast and influential network. He’s been involved in nearly every step of the process as we prepared speakers for the big day.
And he did all of that as a volunteer for TEDxSanAntonio.
Sonny, thank you so much for everything you’ve done for us. The TEDxSanAntonio community is lucky to have you with us. Thanks again.
